WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
Creations by Sonia/My Punjabi Roots is based out of Victoria, BC.. specifically, in Saanich (by Uptown Mall and Tillicum Mall).
WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS?
We try to keep our shop hours to 9-6pm Monday to Saturday, and off on Sundays/Holidays.
However, as any small shop owner.. we bend the rules quite often. We try to answer your questions/fulfill orders any chance we can. If we're not responding to messages, we're taking a break and spending time with the family. Please be patient with us!
DO YOU OFFER PICKUP?
Yes! We offer pickup from our home based studio in Saanich, BC. Depending on when you need your product, we also offer pickup in Surrey and Richmond, as we make frequent trips over. Please connect with us in advance of your order to see if we can accommodate you!
Due to the current global pandemic, we are unable to offer pickup in Surrey and Richmond at this moment. This can change as we try to sort out how to make it work for everyone, safely! We are continuing to offer contact-less porch pick-up in Victoria, BC.

DO YOU SHIP?
Yes! We frequently ship our products via Canada Post to Canada, USA, Australia and UK with tracked shipping. Due to COVID-19, signatures are not happening.
Please ensure your address is correct before submitting your order. Orders are shipped based on size/weight.
If you need a package ASAP, please ensure you contact us prior to ordering to ensure we can accommodate your request.
If you prefer one method over another, or a different carrier, please contact us!
Once your order has been shipped, it is out of Creations by Sonia/My Punjabi Root's control and responsibility. We are unable to stop/pause/regain packages that have been shipped off. Please ensure that your shipping address is correct when you enter in the website!

DO YOU TAKE CUSTOM ORDERS?
Yes! We love being creative! If you have an idea in mind, please contact us and we can see if we can bring it to life! We will offer ideas and suggestions of what we can do for you and work together to bring it to life. Please note that we limit the amount of orders we can take on each month, so please ensure you contact us as soon as you are able.
HOW SOON WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?
Digital Products: some products in the shop are INSTANT download, and are mentioned in each listing. This means that you will get a download link once you pay! Super easy!
Custom digital products are typically personalized within 4-5 business days (art prints, invitations, Snapchat Filters, etc). If we cannot meet this deadline for unforeseen circumstances, we will connect with you within this timeframe with a heads up or check-in. We will also contact you if we have any questions about the information provided.
Custom ordered products can take a longer period of time, due to the nature of the piece. We will always keep you informed order-by-order of the status! Once designed, the order is then processed for printing. Once printed, we package and then ship or setup for pick-up.
As for other party decor items, please expect a 1-3 week turnaround. This fluctuates with the amount of orders received or how many products are included in your package. If you are on a tight timeline, please contact us first and we will let you know if we can take the order and get it done for you in time!
Any in-stock items for My Punjabi Roots will typically be shipped out within 2-3 business days. Shipping times vary.
We are a home-based business with a little one, so our days get quite full with keeping her busy. We appreciate your continuous support, and patience while we keep our creativity alive!
Processing times can vary and fluctuate during COVID-19, and any peak times/holidays of the year.

WILL I SEE MY ORDER BEFORE IT GETS PRINTED/MADE?
Your purchase of any customized digital design (digital or printed), includes ONE FREE round of revisions! This proof will include all details you've submitted. Changes include misspellings and any other grammatical errors. Any additional changes or adjustments requested AFTER the first proof are subject to an extra charge.
Handmade items, such as cake toppers or banners, cannot be digitally designed and sent over to review. They will look as closely as possible to the listing photo. Due to the handmade nature of our pieces, no two items will look exactly the same; however, every effort is made to streamline and ensure consistency!
Instant download prints are not customized, and are exactly as you see in the listing.
THE COLOURS LOOK DIFFERENT THAN I SEE ON MY SCREEN. WHY IS THAT?
Colours that you see on the screen vary from one computer monitor or phone screen, to another. It is the nature of screen resolutions, brightness settings, etc. When printing, you may also notice a difference as different printers, inks, toners, and paper textures involved. We are not responsible for the resulting colour differences that may occur, simply due to the variables that we have to consider. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us!
I AM ORDERING A DIGITAL FILE, BUT IT IS STILL CHARGING ME SHIPPING?
Please ensure you choose "Pick Up In Store" or use code "DIGITALORDER" and it will waive the shipping fees.
WHAT FILE(S) DO I RECEIVE WHEN PURCHASING DIGITAL FILES?
When you purchase a digital file, you are purchasing a PDF file of our digital artwork direct to your email. We do not sell vector art. If you require a JPG file, please let us know and we can accommodate that for you. You do not have rights to our digital files. They are not to be resold, redistributed, or copied. Please share the link to my listing when sharing on your blog posts, news articles, or with family and friends.
DO YOU DO EXCHANGES OR REFUNDS?
Due to the custom and digital nature of our products, we do not offer exchanges or refunds.
If it is an in-stock piece, we can exchange or refund the item; however, the customer will need to pay for and cover shipping and handling charges. This is done on a case-by-case basis, so please reach out to us. If you are local to us or a pickup location, you may be able to do so directly with us.
All digital files are final sale.
